Sales Representative, Lamplighter Brewing Co.

We’re looking for a responsible, organized, and independent individual to join our Sales Team as a Sales Representative.

The Position: The primary role of the Sales Representative is to cultivate new and existing account relationships, meeting or exceeding sales quotas while selling product  and addressing concerns / feedback from accounts. Operating within a defined sub territory or subset of accounts, as designed by the Director of Off Premise Sales, the  Sales Representative will ensure that Lamplighter product is sold properly off-site (i.e.  monitoring storage methods, pricing, information displays, product expirations dates,  etc.) and will encourage accounts to interact with and promote the Lamplighter brand  as much as possible. As part of their responsibilities, the Sales Representative may be  expected to deliver beer to select accounts as well as organize and attend beer  tastings and off-site events.

What We Teach You: Sales Representatives will be trained in sales strategy and tactics, brewery invoicing and CRM software, as well as Lamplighter’s history, operations,  policies, and procedures. They will also be trained to represent the brand at off-site  events and tastings, and how to monitor and implement Lamplighter’s account  standards. As a brand ambassador, the Sales Representative is expected to gain  valuable networking experience through regular correspondence with accounts and  industry professionals at off-site events. They will learn to keep detailed records of any  and all account interactions.

    • 1-3 years of sales experience  
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas  
    • Energetic, compelling, positive, and persuasive go-getting attitude 
    • Must have ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as weekend and extended workdays are necessary  
    • Access to a vehicle to use for business purposes, willingness to travel  through Lamplighter’s self-distributed territory 
  • Starting Wage: $50,000 / yr + sales commission, commensurate with experience

Barback, Lamplighter Brewing Co., 284 Broadway Taproom

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and eager barback to join our team at our original Broadway location. All our front of house team staff start as barbacks, so if you’re interested in working in the taproom as a bartender this is the role for you!

The Position: Lamplighter barbacks are assistants to the bartenders. They are responsible for keeping the taproom clean and organized, washing and drying glassware, restocking supplies and filling water, changing kegs, and helping out with service in whatever way is necessary.

What We Teach You: New staff will be trained to manage crowd capacity and interact with intoxicated customers. All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures.

Barista, Pepita Coffee Co., 284 Broadway Taproom

We’re looking for baristas to join Pepita Coffee Co. cafe, our coffee shop nestled inside Lamplighter Broadway’s front taproom. Want to learn how to pull the perfect espresso shot or whip up a creamy matcha, all while spending mornings in our cozy cafe? This is the position for you!

The Position: Baristas are responsible for making and serving all coffee drinks, interacting with patrons, taking orders, and occasionally running food / drink to customers. Baristas are also responsible for managing the register, bussing tables, and keeping the space clean and organized. New baristas will be trained on all things coffee and cafe operations. Qualified Baristas may be promoted to Lead Baristas, and / or train on brewing cold brew depending on position availability.

Snack Bar Staff, Lamplighter Brewing Co., Cambridge Crossing Taproom

We’re looking for team members to run the cheese and charcuterie themed snack bar at our Cambridge Crossing taproom.

The Position: Snack bar staff are responsible for the production and assembly of charcuterie, cheese, and snack boards in the Lamplighter CX taprooms. They are responsible for making or prepping all sauces, ingredients, and items on the Lamplighter CX snack bar menu, and maintaining an efficient and clean food prep environment.

What We Teach You: New staff will be trained to prepare and assemble aesthetically pleasing charcuterie and cheese boards and to operate / troubleshoot basic food prep equipment. All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures.
