Barback, Lamplighter Brewing Co., 110 N First St “CX” Taproom

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and eager barback to join our team at our new Cambridge Crossing location, opened earlier this year. All our front of house team staff start as barbacks, so if you’re interested in working in the taproom as a bartender this is the role for you!

The Position: Lamplighter barbacks are assistants to the bartenders. They are responsible for keeping the taproom clean and organized, washing and drying glassware, restocking supplies and filling water, changing kegs, and helping out with service in whatever way is necessary.

What We Teach You: New staff will be trained to manage crowd capacity and interact with intoxicated customers. All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures.

Barback, Lamplighter Brewing Co., Broadway Taproom

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and eager barback to join our team at our original 284 Broadway location, where we brew the majority of our beer. All our front of house team staff start as barbacks, so if you’re interested in working in the taproom as a bartender this is the role for you!

Packaging Manager, Lamplighter Brewing Co., Broadway Taproom

We’re looking for an organized, leadership-oriented Packaging Manager to join our production team. This individual is responsible for ensuring all our delicious beer is properly packaged into kegs, cans, and bottles for our taprooms and local accounts.

The Position: Lamplighter’s Packaging Manager is the primary lead on coordinating and executing packaging of finished beer into cans, bottles, and kegs. Occupying a managerial role within the production staff, the Packaging Manager is responsible for managing the packaging team, operating the canning and bottling line, forecasting and ordering supplies, communicating throughout the company, and making adjustments to the packaging plan where necessary. This position reports directly to the Head Brewer. Experience with a Cask ACS v5 is preferred, but not necessary.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years packaging, or related mechanical experience preferred, but not necessary
    • The right candidate will receive training and an opportunity to attend a beer packaging course
  • Excellent work ethic, team player, and communication skills
  • Excellent organization and cleanliness habits
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and remain on feet for 8 hours a day
  • Not required but preferred: A formal brewing education, Cask ACS knowledge, prior management experience
