Packaging ManagerLamplighter Brewing Co.

Lamplighter’s Packaging Manager is the primary lead on coordinating and executing packaging of finished beer into cans, bottles, and kegs.

The Position: Lamplighter’s Packaging Manager is the primary lead on coordinating and executing packaging of finished beer into cans, bottles, and kegs. Occupying a managerial role within the production staff, the Packaging Manager will be responsible for managing the packaging team, operating the canning and bottling line, forecasting and ordering supplies, communicating throughout the company, and making adjustments to the packaging plan where necessary. This position reports directly to the Head Brewer. Experience with a Cask ACS v5 is preferred, but not necessary

What We Teach You: All Lamplighter employees will be provided with an introductory knowledge of beer and the brewing process, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies and procedures. Production employees will be certified to operate our forklift, trained to follow all OSHA and company-wide safety protocols, and invited to participate in regular sensory analysis panels.

1-2 years packaging or related mechanical experience required. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. and remain on feet for 8-10 hours a day. No background check required. Not required, but preferred: formal brewing education, prior management experience.

Social Media Coordinator, Lamplighter Brewing Co.

We’re looking for a creative, curious, and passionate storyteller to join our marketing team as our Social Media Coordinator.

The Position: An integral member of Lamplighter’s Marketing Team, the Social Media Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing successful social media and communications campaigns. This role is primarily responsible for content creation and marketing efforts across Lamplighter’s digital platforms, including but not limited to: social media, email newsletters, company website, online store, and review platforms.

Dual Responsibilities: This is a 15 hours/week role. Candidates will be required to hold an additional front of house position (barista or barback) for the remaining 25 hours/week. As we continue to grow, we anticipate that the Social Media Coordinator will gradually reduce barback / barista hours while taking on more office work.

What We’ll Teach You: All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures. As a member of the marketing team, this knowledge will be supplemented with marketing-specific continued education around brewing process, ingredients, styles, descriptions, and tasting notes. We’ll also support in continued professional development in marketing, including developing basic graphic design skills and proficiency with the Adobe Suite.

Events Coordinator, Lamplighter Brewing Co.

A member of Lamplighter’s Marketing Team, the Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and hosting a range of public-facing and private events. We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm for event planning, and excellent organizational skills.

The Position: An integral member of Lamplighter’s Marketing Team, the Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning, promotion, and logistics of all events scheduled at Lamplighter locations and off-site venues. Focusing on high-impact, cost- effective events in line with Lamplighter’s core values, the Events Coordinator will direct and mobilize staff, event participants, and vendors to successfully execute each event. They will also work closely with the Director of Marketing to establish a set of standard operating procedures, guidelines, and policies to maintain quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction throughout a wide variety of experiences.

Dual Responsibilities: The Events Coordinator position is a 10 hours/week role. Community Engagement Coordinator, Lamplighter Brewing Co.

Lamplighter’s Community Engagement Coordinator manages all community and non-profit partnerships, processes donation requests, and supports the ongoing implementation of the company’s values both internally and within the broader community.

The Position: The primary role of Lamplighter’s Community Engagement Coordinator is to direct all community partnerships, coordinate volunteer opportunities for staff members, and manage the reallocation of company resources through donations of funds, event spaces, products / merchandise, and other forms of giving. Aligning their work carefully with Lamplighter’s company values and mission, the Community Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in shaping Lamplighter’s identity in the cultural and social communities of staff and customers, as well as presenting its initiatives internally and externally.

Dual Responsibilities: The Community Engagement Coordinator position is a 10 hours/week role. Candidates will be required to hold an additional front of house position (barista or barback) for the remaining 30 hours/week. Depending on the company’s growth, the Community Engagement Coordinator may reduce barback / barista hours and take on more office work.

What We’ll Teach You: All employees are also provided with a working knowledge of general beer and brewing, and a complete understanding of Lamplighter’s history, operations, policies, and procedures. As a member of the marketing and admin team, this knowledge will be supplemented with discussions around company values, morals, and ethics and brand, as well as continued outreach and network-building with past and present community partners. This individual will also be trained to analyze company impact area initiatives and incentivize tax-deductible giving.
