Raise a glass to Lamplighter’s latest honey beer at this drop-in, interactive tasting event. RSVP here.
Join Lamplighter Brewing on Friday, March 1st at our 284 Broadway taproom for a special “happy hour” event hosted with our friends at the World Honey Exchange. If you’re a Lamplighter fan you know we love to brew with honey. This event celebrates our latest honey creation, Asali – this truly global beer born from a collaboration with World Honey Exchange showcases Tanzanian miombo woodland honey and aromatic vanilla bean, layered with a millet base. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind beer, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Here’s what else you can expect at the event:
-Be among the first to try Asali (Ale with Millet, Honey, and Vanilla) on draft
-Purchase bottles of Asali to take home
-Sample some of the World Honey Exchange’s unique, globally and sustainably-sourced honeys – including a few that we’ve featured in our beer!
-Chat with Brian Woerner, Founder of the World Honey Exchange, about his work with bekeepers from around the world
Admission to this event is free, RSVP here so we can get a sense of numbers. The honey tasting will take place in the back taproom at 284 Broadway and space is limited, so come early to grab a seat.
Please note that our taprooms are 21+ after 5 pm on weekdays and after 2 pm on weekends. Babies and kids are also welcome during our 21+ hours if accompanied by a parent or guardian. While our taprooms are family-friendly, we ask that you use your best judgment when planning a visit with children.
