Tuesday Trivia Takeover – Food for Free

Come to Lamplighter’s regular Tuesday Trivia on July 11th to support our quarterly partner – Food for Free!

Food For Free believes that access to healthy food is a fundamental right. They envision a future where everyone in our community – regardless of age, income, or ability – has consistent access to fresh, healthy, delicious food. Come show your support for this awesome organization at our Tuesday Trivia Takeover. Be sure to grab a pitcher or pint of our collaboration beer with Food for Free, About Thyme, a golden ale with lemon thyme! A $1 from each pour served at either of our taprooms will go to Food for Free.

Here’s how it will work: show up with your team of 2 – 6 players starting at 7:00 pm, when we’ll open the doors to the back taproom. Head down the hallway to the back, then snag a seat. All seating is first come first serve, so we recommend arriving early – there generally is a line! The folks from Food For Free will kick off the evening with a quick introduction to their work, and then the game will start at 7:30 pm. Trivia is about two hours long (with plenty of beer breaks, of course). Questions rotate every week, and cover categories ranging from history, politics, sports, movies, pop culture, music, and more. At the end of the game, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will be awarded an “About Thyme” four pack and Lamplighter gift cards – good for usage in either of our taprooms and at Pepita Coffee Co.

Hungry? Munch on our signature giant soft pretzels or some crunchy nachos, which are available Tuesday evenings only. You’re also always welcome to bring your own food or order in, ask our staff for their favorite local recommendations. See you at trivia night!
