Rise Up Interactive Beer & Ingredient Tasting with Curio Spice Co.

Join us in our back taproom at 284 Broadway for a very special tasting experience, spotlighting our latest release: Rise Up! It’s hosted in collaboration with our nonprofit partner Matahari Womens’ Worker Center and our friends at Curio Spice Co.

The hibiscus flower and spice blend used in the beer is sourced from Curio Spice Co., an award winning women-owned company located in Somerville. To highlight the unique ingredients, this event will feature a “sensory breakdown” of the beer,, where you can smell and sample the individual grains, spices, and hops used in the beer while being among the first to try “Rise Up” on draft.

“Guided Tasting” tickets* are $25 and include early entry to the back taproom at 6:30 pm. In this tasting, one of our senior brew staff will lead you through a complementary flight of four beers. You’ll learn about the brewing process, recipe development, and what makes this project so special. A portion of your ticket cost will also help to fund the incredible work Matahari is doing to uplift workers affected by gender injustice.

Or, if you’d rather attend for free, register for a “general admission” ticket to join us from 7:30 pm onwards. Please note that GA tickets do not guarantee a seat. All space is first come first serve.
