Lamplighter’s 2023 Brewer’s Arm Wrestling Competition

Join us on Thursday, August 17th for Lamplighter Brewing Co.’s first ever Brewer’s Arm Wrestling Competition in support of abortion access in Tennessee. Hosted in collaboration with our friends at WeMAWL, come watch eight wrestlers go arm to arm in the back taproom at our 284 Broadway taproom. Doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the competition kicking off at 8:00 pm – come early to ensure you get a prime viewing spot.

100% of all of ticket proceeds support Abortion Care for Tennessee (ACT). There will be plenty of additional donation opportunities at the event, if you’d like to contribute further. ACT Fund builds power for Tennesseans by working to remove barriers and increase access to reproductive and sexual health care including safe abortion care for all people. We first met this incredible organization while attending the 2023 Craft Brewer’s Conference, and were moved to continue to support their critical care.

Our featured beer of the event is a Hot Honey Lager: Don’t Call me Honey, Honey! Inspired by the flavors of hot honey, this fiery Lager is crafted with a blend of chili peppers and honey malts. With moderate earthy spice, biscuity notes and a crisp body, this Lager brings the sweet heat.

If that’s not enough honey for you, Honeycomb Creamery will be serving up their special Lavender Honey flavor with their honeycomb candy topping and a local honey drizzle. Can someone say YUM?!
