Learn How to Make a New York Times Crossword at Lamplighter CX

Ever dreamed of submitting a puzzle to Will Shortz? Want to score points with your crossword-obsessed partner? Come on down…and across to our next crossword puzzle class on Wednesday, March 22nd.

We’re super excited to welcome Times crossword constructor (and Lamplighter regular!) Ross Trudeau back for another interactive crossword puzzle class at our Cambridge Crossing Taproom. Learn how to build your very own crossword puzzle, while sipping craft beer in the back taproom events space.

Topics include how to generate a theme, build and fill a grid, and write clues, just like the ones Ross wrote for the puzzles that adorn our new coasters at our CX taproom and the puzzle that adorns the can of our Brown Ale with Single Origin Honey, Wordplay. All are welcome, and we’ll leave plenty of time for questions following the instructional portion of the class.
