Brewery Book Club
November 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
You’re invited to our November brewery book club, where Lamplighter, the Cambridge Public Library, and All She Wrote Books team up to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices while having a beer.
This month, we’ll read We Ride Upon Sticks by Quan Barry. Set in Danvers, Massachusetts, this novel follows the 1989 Danvers High School Falcon field hockey team on their journey to the state finals. They will do anything to make it there – even if that means tapping into some devilishly dark powers.
We’ll gather on November 10 from 7-8:30pm, to discuss this read, what we learned from it, what we found ourselves touched by, and all other thoughts.
How it works: Register (for free) to join us, then pick up a copy of the book at your local library or favorite bookstore.
