Beer & Cheese Pairing Class: Oktoberfest Edition!

Join us for the October edition of our monthly beer and cheese tasting, co-hosted with our friends from Formaggio Kitchen in our beautiful light-filled CX taproom. This time, in celebration of our Oktoberfest festivities this month, the class is focused on traditional Bavarian styles – think Märzens, Festbiers, Hefes, Goses, etc. Prost!
If you’ve ever wondered which cheese could compliment a crystal clear lager or you’re curious about which pairings will bring out the fruity esters in a hefeweizen, you won’t want to miss our Oktoberfest tasting class. We’ll sample a range of Lamplighter’s traditional German styles from our malty Märzen, to our tart Gose, each paired with a curated cheese selected by the expert cheesemongers at Formaggio.
On Monday, October 2nd at 6:30 pm, join us upstairs at our Cambridge Crossing taproom for our monthly beer and cheese pairing class. We’ll walk you through a cheese board curated by Formaggio and flight with comprehensive tasting notes and style descriptions. The class spotlights a variety of delicious cheeses alongside an array of our very own beers. You’ll leave knowing a little bit more about beer, brewing, cheese making, and how to put together a successful beer and food pairing.
Each ticket is for one person and grants you access to the event at our 110 N First Street “CX” taproom, seating, a flight of four 5 oz pours, and cheese board for one. This class is great for groups, date night, or folks hoping to make new friends. All the seating is family-style and first come first serve.
